About Me

Hey ya'll! My name is Kendal Kay Mueller, I'm 28, and i'm currently living in Lenoir city Tennessee, born and raised in the smoky mountains. I’m happily married to the love of my life, who I’ve known since we were little kids, and we ended up reconnected after 10 years of going our separate ways. I have the best assistant/baby sitter, his name is Lucian and makes sure I stay safe while living with my seizures. My service dog is very well behaved, and you’ll likely not notice him, besides the fact he’s 120 pound German shepherd, but he’s truly just there to make sure I’m okay and alert me to any incoming seizures. Despite my seizures, I love what I do and I’d love to be the person to capture your special moments that hang on the walls, or get passed down through generations.

I was raised on a farm, have rode horses most of my life, and I don't remember a time there wasn't a dog or cat right next to me. Funny enough, I picked up a camera the day I got my first horse. My parents handed me the camera to keep me away from the big beautiful (palomino) horse coming up our driveway, and it was something out of a Disney movie. From that day forward my whole life was about horses, and using my camera to capture the moments I had with them. When I was about to turn 18 in the summer of 2015 I had got a new horse, so i took her to a friends arena to "see what she could do" as I was a barrel racer and horse trainer horse trainer at the time, i was always looking for trouble haha. That was an incident I'm still paying for. I ended up having a bad accident on my horse, and developing seizures from a brain injury as I wasn't wearing a helmet. I stepped away from both barrel racing, horse training and photography. In spring of 2019 something changed for me though, I decided seizures had already taken so much of my life and I was ready to take it back.

So, here I am! I'm building a business that cares about you, your family and what your story is all about. Capturing that is my business and passion. I want you to hang the pictures I take in your home, but also remember the memories we made as I took your photos. I'm here to make our ( your ) photoshoot one you remember and tell all your friends about! I want to bring out the absolute best in you, and your family at our photoshoot.

If you decide to book a doggy and me, or a shoot with your horse, you can absolutely expect me to be down on the ground making some wild noises to get those ears forward, and make sure I get that perfect shot! I love capturing people with their animals, and I believe those are moments that need to be documented since we don't have as long with our furry friends. Speaking of furry friends, I will have a service dog with me (his name is Lucian) on the day of our shoot, but I can promise you he is just there to look after me and will not interfere in anyway with your moment.

I hope you're having an amazing day, and I hope to speak with you soon and hear your story.
